ChiBall Master Trainer Lynley GladdisLynley Gladdis is an International ChiBall Master Trainer and Presenter and is passionate about educating teachers in the mind-body practice of The ChiBall Method™.

 

Lynley is currently focusing on the area of teaching and leading the Level 1 Practical Intensive Teacher training courses in Europe and Australia. She is also working on developing the ChiBall Education Curriculum. She specialises in assisting teachers to learn techniques on how to achieve personal mastery and greater self awareness in The ChiBall Method™.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Education and works extensively in the fitness and mind-body industries which gives her a great depth of understanding in how to transform human potential and bring out the best in our teachers.

Reflections on Master Training: Rebecca Quinn

ChiBall Teacher Rebecca Quinn

Rebecca Quinn is a Certified ChiBall Teacher who is on the path to becoming a ChiBall Master Trainer. She has trained in, and teaches, The ChiBall Method™, Pilates and Dance of the Dragon™ at her BayChi Changes studio in Melbourne, Australia, and is also a Feng Shui practitioner. Rebecca has been described as a gifted and inspirational teacher, and is known for her gentle approach to healing through exercise.

 

As part of her training to become a ChiBall Master Trainer, Rebecca was selected to lead some sessions at the recent ChiBall Level 1 Teacher Training in Melbourne. We had the pleasure of speaking with her about her experience.

ChiBall Teacher Story: Rebekah Smith

ChiBall Teacher Bek Smith


My ChiBall Journey started when I was a university student, paying my way through my studies by teaching Group Fitness classes.  I met ChiBall Master Trainer Lynley Gladdis and started participating in her Pilates and ChiBall classes.


Lynley soon became my unofficial Pilates mentor, from whom I gleaned a wealth of knowledge and inspiration that enriched my own classes. When I finished my Bachelor of Science and decided to pursue a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, Lynley's encouragement and guidance helped me develop a deeper appreciation of movement and exercise instruction than I ever would gave gained from my university studies alone.

ChiBall Teacher Story: Judy McKenzie

ChiBall TeacherMy name is Judy McKenzie, and at 66 years of age I have a great life as a Mum to three adult children and Nanny to four grandchildren, all somewhat scattered throughout Australia.  I am also a ChiBall Method™ Teacher in Australia – and loving it!  And therein lays the story.

It could be said I have been on the ChiBall Journey since its inception in Adelaide more than 10 years ago.  After a history of high-impact sport including squash, aerobics and, in my younger days, ballet, my body was grateful that I discovered this beautiful Method, taught by Monica.

She was teaching mind-body exercise at our local Burnside Fitness Club, way before mind-body was the fashion. I was literally in her front row. Monica drew us in and we were hooked on her methodology and the ChiBall.

ChiBall Teacher Linda Lundgren

Linda is a native of Sweden who runs a holistic health and well being business in Portugal where she offers clients a wide range of services including The ChiBall Method™.

 

CB: Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed for this month’s newsletter.

LL: It’s a pleasure, thanks for asking me to talk about what interests me most!

 

CB: Could you tell us a bit about your background in terms of practising or teaching fitness or mind-body exercise?

LL: Sure, I’ve been working fulltime in mind/body training for almost 10 years. I teach group classes, private courses and one-to-one training.

I have a degree from the Sport University (Stockholm) and am a certified fitness, aerobic instructor and personal trainer from S.A.F.E (Scandinavian Academy of Fitness Education). I also have a Bachelor in Psychology with my final work within the field of Sport Psychology and Mental Training.
