ChiBall - Musicality & MovementThis course teaches an understanding of music and movement as it relates to The ChiBall Method™. It emphasises the practical skills that allow ChiBall practitioners to communicate effectively with their students through music and ensures that ChiBall students achieved the maximum benefit of the class.

Students will develop greater rhythmic acuity, music vocabulary, and an ability to listen to music and translate the meaning into movement. You will achieve a greater awareness of ambient sound and music and the influence this has on movement.

Upon completion of this module the student will be able to:
  1. Understand and use terminology related to dance accompaniment
  2. Understand music mapping and count of tempos
  3. Evaluate and improve music listening (receptive) skills
  4. Improve the breadth and depth of the personal relationship to music
  5. Understand her or his own musicality as it relates to dance
  6. Create a music and choreography map
  7. Understand the definition of “exercise to music” in the context of The ChiBall Method™
