New Workshops for 2011

Our education program continues to be inspired by our teachers, customers and working with leaders in the industry. We are committed to enhancing our product and education services by continuing to create short courses that add a different dimension to your classes.

Many teachers have recently contacted us following the launch of the newly accredited Level 1 Teacher Training course (3 distance learning modules, plus the 7-day Practical Intensive) to find out whether their previous training is recognised.

The good news is that for all who have completed the ChiBall 4-day Teacher Training, your teacher status is still valid.  However, in order to take full advantage of the Teachers’ Community, marketing materials and support, we do require teachers to be current with the latest Level 1 educational developments. To help you bring your teaching up to date, we are offering a special 2-for-1 discount on the two new Level 1 modules — Musicality & Movement and Colour & Aromatherapy.

Spring, Autumn, and Yin Yang courses are now available for ChiBall Teachers to purchase online!  Spring and Autumn are part of the Level 2 ChiBall Training, and are an ideal way for Level 1 Teachers to deepen their knowledge of the seasons and offer new classes and music to their students.

Yin Yang is the class taught to new teachers during the Level 1 Practical Intensive Teacher Training.  If you’ve previously attended a training prior to 2009, you’ll definitely want to bring your classes up to date with this class that can be taught all year round. We've designed the ChiBall Journey to be an engaging, accessible and fun way to expand your mind-body knowledge and teaching skills.

There are 4 levels within the programme that progressively challenge and support your personal and professional development -- starting with Level 1 Teacher Certification, through to Level 4 Master Trainer Certification.

As global demand for highly skilled mind-body teachers continues to grow, receiving certification from accredited programs is becoming an increasingly important mark of quality and distinction.

We're delighted to announce that the ChiBall Level 1 Teacher Training (4 modules) has been accredited with Fitness Australia and has been awarded the maximum 15 CECs.  Fitness Australia is the national health and fitness industry association working for a fitter, healthier Australia. Fitness Australia is a not-for-profit, member-based association with over 900 registered fitness business members and 20,000 registered exercise professionals Australia-wide.  Fitness Australia monitors adherence to industry standards of service, care and safety through the registration of exercise professionals and businesses.

We have also recently received accreditation from Kinect Australia, and awarded 3 Professional Development Points (PDP’s) per module -- the Level 1 training is therefore equivalent to 12 PDPs. Kinect Australia is a national independent, incorporated association which operates primarily under major agreements with governments for the delivery of key active living initiatives.  It aims to provide leadership and support, to build the capacity of the broader physical activity field and provide direct assistance to the public where appropriate.

We are currently in the process of applying for global recognition and accreditation in other countries in which we operate.

We are very pleased to announce that the ChiBall Education Website is now live! This area of website is the “central hub” for the ChiBall Education Programme (read more about our course curriculum), and serves to:

• Deliver online courses
• Present rich content, such as videos and instructional pieces
• Post information and updates on events
• Provide community forums for learning and enriching discussion

The ChiBall Education Website has been designed to be a key resource for support and on-going development throughout each member’s journey – whether you wish to become a Certified Teacher, ChiBall Presenter, or even aspire to become a Master Trainer.

We invite you to take advantage of our free registration, participate in the forums, and connect with other like-minded individuals who are inspired by mind-body practice and lifestyles of health and wellbeing.
